This movie was made in either the late 70's or early 80's/ It is about a women who is a single mother (husband is either dead or out of the picture) of two children a teenage (16/17) boy and a young girl (10-12). She starts experiencing something in her house...she feels like she is getting assaulted/raped but there is nothing there. She comes to believe it's a ghost, she visits a psychiatrist who tries to help her but believes she is crazy...he even suggests she is having fantasies about her attractive teenage son. It turns out there is some sort of evil entity, ghost hunters come to her house and then come up with a way to trap the ghost using some sort of freezing liquid in a "fake" model of her house...using her as bait. Sounds like "The Entity". Had Barbara Hershey playing the lead character and Ron Silver played the psychiatrist. It was based on a true story. Here is a link with a picture and description of the movie.
