Off the pill; a week late; could I be pregnant?

I've been on the pill for 1 and a half years.

I left it at my boyfriends dorm about a month ago; so I missed 4days; I called my pharamacy %26amp;%26amp; they told me to take it the Sunday after I get my period.

After about 6 days off of the pill, my cycle came. It came 2 weeks earlier than it should; due to me not taking the pills. It was a lot lighter and shorter than usual; but that is normal for just getting off of birth control.

Well; it's been 34 days since my last cycle; which is very unusual for me. I'm always exactly 28days.

So I took a pregnacy test today. It came up negative.

I've had some weird stomach cramping; but it is prob. because of getting off of my pill. but I don't really know.

I don't know what to do or whats up with the very late cycle.

Can anyone please help with any info. or advice?

Have you been sexually active since you've not been taking the pill and not used contraceptives?

My advice is wait a few more days and take another urine test, if your very anxious about it, then go to the doctors, they can do a blood test that will give you a definite pretty much the next day. It's not uncommon for your menses to go a little haywire after being on the pill. Good luck.

Wait till the day your period should have ended. (+/- 5days) then take another test. If some other pregnancy symptoms show up, go to your GP for a blood test. Good luck
when i went off the pill before, for almost the same situation as you, my period came late. i learned that not stressing out about being pregnant really helps. the test says you aren't, so you probably aren't. you could call a pharmacist and ask what they think about it, too. but, do try to relax!
its provably your period going weired . my period goes wild to i guess its normal and if you do find out your pregnant good luck with that.
Now you are talking about the red pill or the blue pill :). There is a small risk not being able to be pregnant with this pill, after all we are not the same. But if the pregnancy test is negative, why do you worry?

But now really, don't you have any doctor? Way do you go wondering around web and waiting for wise guy to give you stupid answers. Like this one here fore example.

Your body will go through some changes after being off the pill so the lateness is not unusual. Also stress (which I am sure you are under during this period) can also delay your period. Wait a few days longer before taking another urine test and if you are still not satisfied with the results, take a blood test, which is more accurate.
