Chances of your period being late while on birth control? PLEASE ANSWER IM FREAKING OUT?

i have been on birth control for over 2 years now. my periods have always come on time each month down to the day. im getting a little worried bc i was supposed to start my period today and i havent yet. i usually start in the mornings a short while after i wake up. i havent even had cramps yet!! what are the chances of having a late period while on birth control? i only have 3 more pills until i start my next pack! also what are the chances of getting pregnant on birth control? is there anyone out there that has (please answer)

yes my first child is a pill baby and this is because nothing is ever 100% safe but you could start later you never know but if you don't start by the end of the pack you need to take a pregnancy test good luckxxx

My sister got pregnant while taking birth control. She'd been sick, and was also taking antibiotics, which she did not know interfered with birth control.

It is possible you are pregnant, but periods can also be delayed if you aren't feeling well, are stressed, etc.

If you're concerned, I'd get a test and take it first thing in the morning (if AF hasn't showed up by then). It will probably be negative, and then you can stop freaking out.

My best friend got pregnant while on b/c, and i think it might be dangerous to continue taking pills while pregnant. U should see a doc, better safe than sorry!
my Mother got pregnant on the pill, it does happen. But I have a friend whose period came on a day or 2 later when she and I were hanging out more, since we were close are cycles were trying to get in sync. Call your DR before starting the new pills and get a blood test if you have not started by the last placebo pill

well sweetie birth control can cause you to be late on your period, but it's not actually being late. it is called regulating your hormones. please do me a favor if you are sexually active and are on birth contorl, please make your partner wear a condom.several types of birth controls are great but condoms are even better.so use several different one's,but remember there is more to sex than just having babies,disease's ,"they are real."
